When should I Use Intra Clean Minerals?

Thorough cleaning of surfaces is the most important step before disinfection. In this step, highly adhesive pollution is removed from the surfaces and the bacterial load is significantly reduced. This is important to ensure optimal contact time and efficacy for the disinfectant: Intra Multi-des GA. Cleaning and disinfection done as separate steps is the only way to assure your plants will have the best environment to perform.

What concentration should I use?

The advised concentration is 3-5% Intra Clean Minerals. With this concentration the foam will be of optimal quality.

What is the function of the foam?

With foaming products, it is important to have the optimal balance between wet foam (much liquid between the bubbles) and dry foam (almost no liquid between the bubbles). If the foam is too wet, it will run off the gutters very quickly and the contact time is too short. When the foam is too dry, it will not have enough water to transport the active ingredients to break down the pollution and therefore contact time is insufficient.

What is the shelf life of Intra Clean Minerals?

24 months.

Is Intra Clean Minerals corrosive?

Intra Clean Minerals can be corrosive for gutters when not rinsed. Always remember to wash off the product after maximum of 12 hours. When higher dosages of the product are used than recommended, rinse the product of within 1 hour.

What is the effect on different material types?

Intra Clean Minerals has no corrosive effect on materials as long as the recommended dosage and contact time are guaranteed. If these are exceeded, pay special attention to aluminium surfaces.

What equipment should I use for Intra Clean Minerals?

To have the best foaming properties it is best to use a foaming gun on a high pressure washer. For easy daily use the Intra Hygiene Trolley would be recommended.

Should I use cold or warm water?

Intra Clean Minerals can be applied and washed off with cold water.
