Dosing Intra Hydro-pure

IRRIGATION WATER

The average dosage of Hydro-pure for irrigation water is 40 ppm (= 40 ml Hydro-pure per 1000 litres of water). This dosage is used continuously and is suitable for vegetable and ornamental crops. This dosage is suitable for use during production.

It is the easiest to dose Hydro-pure with a dosage pump. Set the dosage pump on 40 ppm (0,004%) and put the suction hose in the Hydro-pure jerrycan.

When the dosage pump cannot dose 0,004% but 0,1%, 1% or 2%:

0,1% dosage pump: mix 400 ml Hydro-pure with 10 litres of tap water and dose this solution with the 0,1% dosage pump.

1% dosage pump: mix 40 ml Hydro-pure with 10 litres of tap water and dose this solution with the 1% dosage pump.

2% dosage pump: mix 20 ml Hydro-pure with 10 litres of tap water and dose this solution with the 2% dosage pump.

If there is no dosage pump available you can dose Hydro-pure with the nutritive solution. Important:

mix Hydro-pure in the water with the fertilizers.

Do not mix Hydro-pure together with the trace

elements (like iron, copper, molybdenum, zinc, etc).

To make the Hydro-pure solution in storage barrel A we need to know the total content of the A barrel. Besides that we need to know how many times the water in the A barrel is diluted before it enters the greenhouse.

Example:

The A barrel has a total content of 1.000 litres. This 1.000 litres is diluted 150 times before it enters the irrigation system in the greenhouse. The needed Hydro pure concentration is 40 ppm.

1.000 litres x 150 = 150.000 litres of water. So the A barrel contains a concentrated mixture for 150.000 litres of irrigation water. 150 x 0,040 litre (40 ppm) = 6 litres of Hydro-pure. To obtain the required dosage of 40 ppm Hydro-pure you need to dose 6 litres of Hydro pure to the 1.000 litres of water in the A barrel.

Irrigation systems in empty greenhouses can be cleaned and disinfected with a 1% - 3% Hydro-pure solution (make sure that oxygen can escape from the system and follow the instructions on the Hydro-pure label).

TREATMENT OF SEEDLINGS (young plants)

Use 50 ppm Hydro-pure continuously.

This prevents bacterial, fungal and viral diseases.

DISINFECTION OF EMPTY GREENHOUSES

Use a 1% - 3% Hydro-pure concentration. Possible disinfection methods: spraying, cold fogging, thermo fogging.

CROP TREATMENT
