Intracare is developing fast, which is fantastic. Our Intrahorti team is expanding continuously with new products, innovations and also people. Let’s meet Rick. We’ve welcomed our colleague Rick Oudendijk in the beginning of 2021. In his role as Sales Manager, Rick has become a familiar face for our partners worldwide, Let’s introduce him.
“In recent years I have worked in the international food industry; dairy products, frozen potato products and frozen vegetables & fruits. Working at the department Intrahorti is like coming home, where I grew up in the horticultural sector.
Now, after almost a year at Intracare, it feels completely familiar. I think it’s because the fitting match between us both. We share the same DNA: open, honest, transparent, customer-oriented and focused on our costomers’ success. It’s nice to join a company that radiates these values in everything. It’s obvious that Intracare wants to move forward, that it wants to position itself as a premium supplier, that wants to be successful in the world together with its distributing partners.

In the horticultural sector, we are constantly challenged by the threat of pathogens, we see pathogens are mutating and are becoming more and more resistant. Worldwide growers are restricted in using pesticides and we as Intrahorti, are responding to these threats with state-of-the-art innovations. With our Intra Hygiene Programme and Intra Nutrient Programme, we prevent and reduce problems in cultivation in greenhouses, as well as open fields.
With our Intra Hygiene Programme we willfurther strengthen our position as pioneers in future proof growing. We also notice and see that growers are becoming more aware of hygiene in and around their greenhouses. Good cultivation starts with hygiene and that is why we will be even stronger in the market with our Intra Hygiene programme next year.
Besides our Intra Hygiene Programme we also have an Intra Nutrient Programme. For several years, Intracare has been teaming up with its partners in the market to develop several biostimulants. This development led to the launch of Intra Eco Shield last year. In addition to Intra Eco Shield, there will be launched more bio-stimulants in our portfolio for the horticulture sector.
Looking to the future, in addition to introducing new products, our team will strengthen the collaboration with our partners in the horticultural sector worldwide. At an innovative and ambitious company such as Intracare, I can conclude that people are the biggest strength of the company.
